AARI BioSphere is a premier, double-blind peer-reviewed international scientific journal dedicated to advancing the global understanding of the life sciences. Published quarterly by the Annakkili Amma Research Institute (AARI), the journal serves as an open-access platform for high-quality original research, critical reviews, and notable scholarly debates addressing significant biological questions.

Launching its inaugural issue in October 2026, AARI BioSphere ensures rapid, barrier-free dissemination of scientific discoveries through a fully digital publishing model.

 

Core Focus & Scope

The core scope of AARI BioSphere spans the biology and biotechnology of bacteria, algae, fungi, bryophytes, pteridophytes, gymnosperms, angiosperms, zooplankton, and animals. We strictly adhere to and ensure compliance with international nomenclatural codes across all taxonomic classifications.

While the journal covers a broad spectrum of life sciences, AARI BioSphere's primary focus is publishing advanced research on algae (Phycology) and aquatic ecosystems.

We accept submissions covering, but not limited to, the following specialized disciplines:

• Botanical & Microbial Sciences: Botany, Bryology, Pteridology, Gymnospermology, Mycology, Algae (Phycology), and Microbiology.

• Biotechnology & Molecular Fields: Applied Biosciences, Molecular Biotechnology, Biotechnology, and Plant Biochemistry.

• Ecosystems & Aquatic Life: Aquaculture, Environmental Biology, Phyto- & Zooplankton Diversity, and overall Biological Biodiversity.

Rigorous Peer-Review Process

To maintain the highest standards of scientific integrity, every submission to AARI BioSphere undergoes a rigorous independent evaluation by at least two subject matter specialists (representing national and international expertise). The final publication decision rests solely with the Editorial Board.
